Diamela is a Research Assistant at the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study at Florida International University. She graduated as a Worlds Ahead Graduate with a B.A in Psychology from FIU. Diamela has worked with several research labs in the Department of Psychology and has a variety of interests, from clinical disorders such as anxiety and depression in adolescents to child and adolescent cognitive development, as well as speech disorders. Her future academic endeavors include continuing her studies in graduate school by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Psychology.
